Ronnie Magro and Jen Harley have had the rockiest relationship in ‘Jersey Shore’ history hands down. The couple is now in the best place that they’ve ever been and it is not a surprise to fans due to the fact that their social media activity has been at an all-time low.
When the two aren’t good, everyone knows it. From posting nasty text message fights to sharing the exact reason why they’re in a spat — Jen and Ron have worn their heart on their profiles.
Lately, the only things the couple has been posting are ads, inspirational quotes, and their gorgeous daughter Ariana Sky Magro.
The peaceful promise that they made to each other is to be the best parents that they can to Ariana whether they are together or not.
Fortunately, their relationship woes are in the past and they have figured it out how to make it work as a couple.
This is partly due to Ronnie’s brave decision to seek help and complete a rehab stint for depression and alcohol use.
“I would work out, get healthy when we were filming or traveling, and then all of a sudden, you start up again and it’s worse than when you stopped. And then you stop and then you start up again and it’s worse than when you stopped. You’re like, ‘Wow, I thought I had this under control.’ But at the end of the day, it has full control over you.”
Ronnie has adapted to his sober life and recently opened up about his plans moving forward at Ariana Sky’s first birthday party.
“We’re going to go through a lot of ups and downs in our lives, and all we can really control is, how we react to the situations in our life. That took a lot of years and good and bad stuff for me to realize in life, it’s about being present, and not worrying about the past, or the future, just enjoying the moment.”
