Shari Linn Quai, a resident of Draper, Utah sadly passed away on Thursday, April 27th, 2023, following a brave battle with cancer. Shari had been battling ‘Colorectal Cancer’ for five years and was 40 years old. She took an airplane from Salt Lake City, Utah, to San Antonio, Texas, to enroll in a cancer trial that matched her particular mutation.

Despite her unwavering commitment to raising awareness about the importance of cancer prevention, Shari Quai was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer in 2018.

The news of Shari Quai’s passing was first announced by Michele Linn, and also she penned a heartfelt note for her, that reads
“We have been battling a fog of loss, so I haven’t been able to bring myself to write anything. Shari exited this world on her terms, just as she did during her lifetime. On Wednesday, April 26, at 10:15 a.m., Shari passed away as her family uttered an “Amen” to the prayer they were reciting over her while encircling her in their hug.”
